I'm a Twin Cities family photographer based in prior lake.As a documentary-gone-portrait photographer, my philosophy is simple: it's my job to capture your story by focusing on the connection between you and your loves.
Do you love having your photo taken? For most of us, not always. But do you love your humans? Do you make each other laugh? Do your kids love to run, jump, spin, and play? Then I've got you covered. You'll be walking away with new memories and beautiful photos documenting it all.

Give me all the dirty knees, the wispy, windblown hair, the laugh-so-hard-you-cry moments. I want your photos to reflect you and the stories your photos tell to be real. I gravitate toward the small stories that happen throughout your photo session, rich in authentic connection and true emotion. (I'll never ask you to laugh. Promise.)

I put a lot of blood, sweat, and (happy) tears into editing each and every photo you receive, which means that most collections require paring down your proof gallery into your must-have images (so hard on you and me both! 😩) But - fear not: each collection I offer includes more than enough photos for your walls and heirloom albums. (Gotta have them all? There's a package for that, too!)
ARTWORK > DIGITAL DUST
Every package I offer includes an artwork credit for photographic prints & print products from your session. I don't want "order prints" to be a nagging item on your to-do list for 12 months, so I help to ensure you're getting those wall-worthy images up on your walls (don't worry - you still get your digitals, too 😊)

how much are your portrait photography sessions?My family photography, maternity photography, and newborn photography sessions all include travel within the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area, and usually last about 1-1.5 hours. Think of your session as a documented hangout with photo souvenirs 😊. All collections include high-resolution digital files, a print release, and an artwork credit to use toward getting those photos up on your wall ASAP.

Your family photographer should be able to capture the true essence of you, your children, and your connection to one another. If your vibe is static, posed photography with angelic smiles for the camera in every image, I'm probably not the photographer for you.
