There's a pretty good chance that whatever time of day it is as you read this, I'm trying to work my way through a cold cup of coffee. There's also a good chance that I'm chasing the kids around the farm or attempting to fold laundry, mend a scraped knee, and cook lunch at the same time.
Basically, I'm in a season of motherhood where self care looks like an uninterrupted shower and being in bed by 9 pm. (disclaimer: I know that basic hygiene isn't self care - but sometimes it sure can feel like it 😅) Here's the thing - whether you're recently engaged, about to become a parent, or pregnant with your fourth babe, one thing is consistent: these seasons are sooooo fleeting. Capturing your stories in every season is why I absolutely love this job. Time is a dang thief, y'all, and it's sooo important to slow down and recognize these seasons before they're gone. If I can help preserve a few little slices of life with you and the people you love most to look back on for years to come - and if those moments feel like you and your kids, and you can remember how you felt when they were taken (the glow of the sun, the weight of your little one in your arms, that intoxicating newborn baby smell)? That's why I do what I do.
